Law in Action & Empirical Court Studies

The Justice Lab bridges the gap between academy and practice. Using the insights resulting from its research projects, the Justice Lab seeks to examine the role of courts in addressing global challenges. It brings together scholars, experts, lawyers, organizations and students to collaborate on various types of projects, using empirical methods like courtroom ethnography to understand laws, actors, and institutions involved in transnational issues.
